When to shift baby from Crib to bed

A very big decision and a crucial time for the Parents, what is the correct age to move baby from Crib to bed or when will be my child ready to move to bed? Usually , as the most other answers about baby, its when your baby is ready. Speaking from safety point of you, its when your baby figures out how to climb out of the crib!

It depends on child till what age she will be comfartable in crib, some sleeps well till 14-16months and others till they are 3yrs old.

Some parents also prefer sleeping on a mattress on floor with their early climbers.

Like a crib, mattress also has its advantagea and disadvantages. When its easier for a parent to slide by baby on a mattress same way its easy for the baby to walk away from it. Still parents and children prefers bed as its a best ,cozy,comfartable place to cuddle.

One of my favouraite past time on bed while cuddling my baby is reading a storytime book. I read in many parent magzine , books, website that children sleep while parents are still reading the story book. This never happend with me :) , my kiddo is wide awake after I finish the story, so again, every child is different.

Also you need some rules and mention it many times to toddlers not to wander around from the bed at night.

But then ,there is solutions available to many things,for a wandering child, you have a Baby gate,which works perfect.
